This goal of this blog is intended to correct all disinformation about Jesus’ teachings in an effort to redirect Christianity from its current disastrous trajectory into what Jesus actually taught in order to finally bring Christians into enlightenment & society into peace
Heaven is Enlightenment. Experienced Today, Not After Death. A terrible misconception and myth perpetrated by Christians for 2000+ years demonstrates a total lack of understanding of Jesus’ teachings. Heaven is the state of spiritual enlightenment, not a kingdom that we “go to”. Jesus spoke metaphorically often so when he says “enter a kingdom” he means “entering” in a figurative sense. It symbolizes the highest state of enlightened consciousness, what several other faiths refer to as Enlightenment, Nirvana, Moksha, Satori, etc. No individual faith/religion has ownership of the idea/path to spiritual enlightenment/awakening and more Christians would have reached this by now if they actually followed Jesus’ instructions.
Jesus Did Not Ask To Be Worshiped. He was a sage blessed to the entire world to teach us the path to enlightenment but not someone who was ever going around telling people to worship him. It’s fair to say you are a follower of Jesus teachings, but Idolization of Jesus violates the universal rule instructing us not to put any idols before our Father/Universe. This is no different than Buddhism, and in how they follow the virtues and principles taught by Buddha but do not actually worship the man himself. This has been a giant misconception within the Christian religion for 2000 years.
The instructions to salvation/enlightenment/heaven have always been to choose the route of peace in every situation and to yield to the holy spirit whenever possible. Publicly announcing Jesus is your lord and savior is meaningless if you’re not putting into practicing any of the instructions he taught during his ministry. Jesus never said we need to publicly announce he is the Son of God to achieve the state of heaven/salvation he described. The reality is he said that we are all the ‘Children’ of our Father, so he was never claiming to be the only ‘Son’ of God. Metaphorical language in biblical texts resulted in more ambiguity and misunderstandings than there needed to be.
Invoke and tap into what Jesus labeled Holy Spirit for guidance during prayer/meditation. This requires total humility and relinquishing your ego’s desire for constant control in order to yield to the guidance of this very real energy force permeating throughout the entire universe that we all have access to and binds all of us together.
Refer to greater higher power/universe as “Our Father” not God
We are all the Son (or Daughter) of God just as Jesus was. – Jesus came to tell us we are all God’s children and one with our father, no different than himself. Nothing would be more egotistical than insisting than we are distinct and separate from our father and our brothers and sisters. This partially birthed the Golden Rule. Treat others as you want to be treated, because ultimately we are one, and inseparable from our Father.
