I recently came across an outstanding video explaining how Christianity does not reflect the teachings of Jesus, it’s purely a religion about Jesus. She concisely and clearly explains the message I’ve been trying to communicate with this website. A link to the video can be found here
More people would be able to access the kingdom within all of us if the teachings of Jesus were actually taught and followed, but instead the bulk of attention is spent on worshiping Jesus rather than God our father just as he taught, and utilizing the holy spirit which we all have access to, this is one of the other critical teachings of Jesus. We see an overwhelming amount of Christians violating the most fundamental instructions Jesus gave to access the kingdom of heaven within as they are alive despite their own faith giving very clear instructions on how to practice the teachings of Jesus. Any church telling you that heaven is some post death reward should be avoided like the plague. Jesus taught that Heaven is within you, ready to be accessed now. Anyone telling you heaven is some post death reward is straight up lying to you. Avoid them like the plague.

The whole religion of Christianity was invented; it wasn’t the religion of Jesus, it is a religion about Jesus. Most Christians skip over the part in the collection of text that was later labeled as the Bible by a bunch of white dudes in the 1500s where people literally conspired to kill Jesus. Jesus was executed, not because God needed him dead, not because there was some covert secret divine plan to save us from our own ignorance or sin, as it was labeled. He was executed because his teachings and actions destabilized the existing power structures, the religious hierarchy and the Roman political system. The crucifixion wasn’t a divine destiny of some kind. It was the system’s response to a threat and here is what really blows my mind. The idea that Jesus died to satisfy God’s wrath, substitutionary atonement, is never stated by Jesus in the gospel. It is a theological layer that was added later when handpicked letters by Paul and other people were elevated and declared an errand by the same institution that Jesus opposed.
So again I’m gonna say the whole religion of Christianity was invented. It is not the religion of Jesus, it is a religion about Jesus and Jesus himself kept saying something else entirely that the kingdom of God, heaven is within you and you can enter that at any time so it’s not this distant after-life reward. It’s here, it’s right now it’s not up there it’s not over here, OK. And forgiveness never required blood. It’s never required debt and so this whole thing is just insane and I am for one am just so grateful to finally be awake to it after years of wondering in church why nothing ever seemed to add up for me, why I just couldn’t get on board with it in my head like something is wrong with me.
