There has been such a total deviation and distortion of Jesus teachings since his death, mostly due to intentional distortions and manipulations of what he said in order to contort it into something to fit the agendas of other people. This continued to happen until it got to the point where the religion/theology does not resemble any of the teaching of its original founder, as seen with modern Christianity. Modern Christianity is unfortunately so distant from its original teachings that not even Jesus would have joined Christianity in its current state. Conversely, it’s gotten to the point where modern-day Christians find Jesus’ teachings to be unrealistic to put into practice in modern society, despite proudly wearing crosses around their necks. One of the most notorious and symbolic examples of how mainstream Christianity has diverged from the teachings of Jesus can be observed in the transformation of His birthday into a celebration of materialism, contrary to His admonitions against such excess.

The goal of this blog is intended to correct all disinformation about Jesus’ teachings in an effort to redirect Christianity from its current toxic trajectory into what Jesus actually taught in order to finally bring Christians into enlightenment & society into peace

A Few Christian Misconceptions Clarified:

The Kingdom of God is Within. Experienced Today, Not After Death – A terrible misconception and myth perpetrated by Christians for 2000+ years demonstrates a total lack of understanding of Jesus’ teachings. Entering the Kingdom of God within is achieving the highest state of enlightened consciousness, what several other faiths refer to as Enlightenment, Nirvana, Moksha, Zen, etc. No individual faith/religion has ownership of the idea/path to spiritual enlightenment/awakening and more Christians would have achieved this by now if they actually followed Jesus’ instructions and guidelines for salvation instead of just thinking declaring “I believe in Jesus ” was sufficient for salvation from our egos.

Jesus Instructed us to follow the Golden Rule, The Sermon on the Mount, release attachments, be selfless and the myriad of other lessons he taught. We should uphold and maintain peace which is the natural order of the universe. Forgiveness is an essential asset in that endeavor. We should acknowledge Jesus was a divine sage blessed to the entire world to the world by our father with the express mission teach us the path to heaven/enlightenment but he have very specific instructions to follow, and they don’t just stop at simply saying you believe in him.

Jesus’ Actual instructions to salvation/enlightenment/heaven have always been to choose the route of peace in every situation and to yield to the holy spirit whenever possible. Publicly announcing Jesus is your lord and savior is meaningless is you’re not putting into practicing any of the instructions he taught during his ministry. Jesus never said we need to publicly announce he is the Son of God to achieve the state of heaven/salvation he described. The reality is he said that we are all the ‘Children’ of our Father, so he was never claiming to be the only ‘Son’ of God. Metaphorical language in biblical texts resulted in more ambiguity and misunderstandings than there needed to be. So yes, every time you see a supporter of <insert politician you strongly dislike>. Don’t engage them in an argument. Your ability to preserve peace is constantly being tested.

Invoke and tap into what Jesus labeled Holy Spirit for guidance during prayer/meditation.
Relying on the Holy Spirit requires total humility and relinquishing your ego’s desire for constant control in order to yield to the guidance of this very real energy force permeating throughout the entire universe that we all have access to and binds all of us together.

Refer to greater higher power/universe as “Our Father” not God
As Jesus instructed, in order to maintain and reinforce our relationship of total unity with the universe. Keep in mind that you are referring to the greater universe when saying ‘Our Father’. The selection of words is no accident, and our Father is preferable.

We are all God’s Children just as Jesus was. – Jesus came to tell us we are all God’s children and one with our father, no different than himself. Nothing would be more egotistical than insisting than we are distinct and separate from our father and our brothers and sisters. This partially birthed the Golden Rule. Treat others as you want to be treated, because ultimately, we are one, and inseparable from our Father. Knowing we are one means anything you do towards others inevitably comes back to impact you as well. Read on for more information on our literal unity, we are inseparable and undivided despite what our egos would like us to believe.
