How do I accept and incorporate Jesus teachings of love and peace while rejecting modern Christianity which is a cesspool of hatred and animosity towards others. A faith that does not resemble what Jesus taught at all. All the reasons it’s deviated is due to hateful parts of the Bible and Old Testament that completely flies in the face of what Jesus taught. There is a seemingly never ending stream of toxicity and hatred in the bible that taints Jesus’ message. The only way to actually embrace and incorporate what Jesus taught is by rejecting and disposing of biblical scripture that conflicts with what Jesus taught. We must return to Jesus’ core teachings which will bring us back in harmony with the universe and humanity, as we are all one. Our egos have fooled us into thinking we are separate and distinct. This couldn’t be further from the truth.

In fact, we are each a manifestation and reflection of the greater Universe that is God and is Love. We are God incarnate in human forms. This is what Jesus meant when he said we are all our father’s children. He often spoke in metaphors and symbolism, but in literal truth, this is what he meant. Our egos deceive us into believing we are separate from one another and from our divine source, God/The Universe. However, the truth, echoed in Jesus’s teachings and understood by followers of nondualism, is that we are fundamentally one. Jesus emphasized this when he spoke metaphorically of us as children of God, created in His image, in order to illustrate our literal unity rather than illusionary individuality.

Our egos demand recognition as distinct entities, but we must affirm that we are, in truth, unified with all. Jesus frequently used figurative language, referring to others as neighbors or brothers, yet these terms poetically convey our literal unity as one collective entity with God/The Universe. To attune ourselves to the spirit of our Father, we must quiet our ego-driven thoughts that constantly distract us, allowing us to receive guidance from the ubiquitous and universal Holy Spirit. This spiritual connection binds us together and offers divine guidance when we release attachments to ego, body, and identity.

We’ve all felt this divine guidance through intuition—a direct link to the greater Universe. Practices like meditation have helped quiet the ego’s incessant chatter, making us more receptive to messages from our Father. Alternatively, we may surrender to our divine source and exchange egoic control for the loving guidance of our Father.

Announce to our Father and Holy Spirit with your mind:

‘I acknowledge and embrace our oneness with our Father, who is God/Love. I recognize that I am interconnected with my neighbors, and that we are all unified with our Father who is God/Love. I release any attachment to individuality and separation from both my neighbors and our loving Father. I invite the Holy Spirit to guide my thoughts and future in all scenarios. My body is a vessel for the Holy Spirit’s eternal presence. I release attachments to ego, identity, and material possessions, relinquishing fear of death, knowing we are in fact eternal beings united with our Father. I submit wholly to His will, prioritizing His guidance over my own desires. I forgive all who have hurt my ego and seek the Holy Spirit’s help to overcome my ego’s weaknesses. I elect to always choose peace over conflict in every situation, aligning with the Universe’s natural order of Peace and Love. I extend blessings to all I cross paths with, recognizing our inseparable unity as siblings in God. I choose to offer help and blessings to others for spiritual enrichment, reinforcing our interconnectedness beyond ego’s illusions. Discord and division defy the Universe’s natural order of peace and love. I ask the Holy Spirit to dissolve any selfishness and narcissism within me. I reject egocentricity, dedicating myself to serving the greater whole, united with our Father, God, the Universe.’

Never forget that the natural order of the universe is rooted in peace, love, solidarity, synergy, productivity, progress, and collaboration. We align ourselves with God by adhering to and embodying these principles. Always be a peacemaker, no matter the situation, as Jesus taught.

Our great teacher Jesus taught us how to tap into and wield the power of the Holy Spirit to restore our happiness, peace, and natural unity with all. By surrendering to the will of our Father and relinquishing our ego’s control, we can embrace the Holy Spirit’s guidance. He also emphasized forgiveness as it aligns you with the natural order of peace and harmony in the universe. It restores a harmonious state with all things, while conflict and anger disrupt the smooth and prosperous path that life would otherwise offer. This is the path to reclaiming our birthright of happiness and oneness with the universe. The ecstasy and euphoria we seek has always been within us, waiting for us to experience it again.

Jesus made it clear that eternal life is earned by following the laws and guidelines he laid out for his followers. Adhering to his teachings, such as the Beatitudes, the Sermon on the Mount, practicing selflessness, letting go of attachments to material possessions including our body, prioritizing others, and showing care for others, must be an active lifestyle. All of this aligns us with our father and the natural order of the universe which can be summed up in one word: Love.
