Your ego will tempt you and lead you into making you angry, bitter, resentful, spiteful, and a myriad of other petty and negative emotions. you must avoid all of these like the plague, these are all spiritual death traps intended to destroy your soul, your spirit and life. All decisions have ripple effects and consequences and come back to hurt you or help you based on the nature and motivation of those decisions you made. When you feel anger, hostility, hatred, and other emotions, this is your cue and prompt to forgive and let things go. Your ego wants nothing more than to act hostile, aggressively , irrationally and selfishly due to hurt feelings. Bring all hurt feelings aside and forgive them and send them your love instead. Regardless of their intent or how badly they wounded or scathed your ego. Forgive forgive forgive. Send them your blessings, wish them the best and send them your love. All thoughts are prayers and all these thoughts and prayers will inevitably come back to help or hurt you based on the nature of your thoughts and especially what you wished towards others. Hatred toxifies your heart which should be pure love. Forgive all, wish others well and bless them. Any action made with the intention of hurting others should be avoided with all costs no matter how minor you feel that action is, the ripple effect of any decision which is negative in nature has enormous consequences. Any desire to hurt anyone even on the most microscopic level has to be avoided like the plague. It hurts you and everyone else.
