From Ego to Eternity: Awakening to the Spirit of the Universe Through The Holy Spirit
We are not separate from God, we are God incarnate. In human form, and therefore, there is no need to fear death. Death is not an end but a transition, a return to the infinite. We have begun to ascend to the next plateau in our evolutionary journey as a species. We are no longer mere observers of the universe—we are its conscious expression, its divine architects. Jesus came to show us precisely this truth: that the ecstasy he referred to as “heaven” already dwells within each of us, waiting to be accessed through the surrender of ego and alignment with the will of the universe. It is enlightenment, a transcendence of our egos, and the discovery of the universe that is present within each and everyone of us. It’s no accident that ‘Heaven’ is a word synonymous with the cosmos above us, it was used to remember our connection and unity with the entire universe and that we are not separate.
Jesus was not a singular or distinct deity to be worshiped, but a fully enlightened human, completely aligned with the spirit of the universe, a vessel through which divine guidance and love flowed freely. The universe, in its organic and natural state, consists only of love, harmony and peace. Through Jesus, it taught us the highest command: to love one another. He did not come to elevate himself above us, but to invite us into the same consciousness he embodied. He was teaching us how to also become what he was, a conduit of divine presence, something our egos constantly obstruct us from achieving.
This universal intelligence transcends time, for time is a human construction. Beyond it lies infinity—where past, present, and future collapse into the eternal now. The universe desires for each of us what it revealed through Jesus: what some have called enlightenment among many numerous names. It is the state of total surrender, total union with the universe and all humanity. Letting go of all control which the ego always demands full control of.
Declare to the universe in your thoughts; “Father, in peace, I release all attachment to ego, to identity, and to this temporary physical form. I release any fear of death. I know now that death is merely the shedding of form, the return to source, the re-emergence of the divine in new expression. We never truly die, only our fleeting egos and temporary bodies die.”
The universe has always sent us teachers, Siddhartha, Krishna, Jesus, not to divide us, but to unite and awaken us. Their teachings converge because they were speaking the same truth in different cultures and languages: that we are one with humanity and our cosmic source.
To claim one as greater than the other is to fall into the trap of tribalism, a symptom of the ego. But they each pointed to the same eternal oneness, the same quantum field of the universe that Jesus referred to as the Holy Spirit. As we ascend into higher states of consciousness, things we once referred to as spiritual will be recognized as scientifically recognized and accepted. Fields like quantum mechanics are already leading us toward this deeper truth that have already been established in spiritual circles.
In that spirit, I renounce the impulse to argue or to fight which only serves to divide us. I choose stillness. I choose unity. I choose to let go of attachments to all that is temporary and false on this earth. When this body falls away, I will return to the great pulse of the universe, as yet another incarnation of the universe’s essence. The sooner we remember this, the sooner we align with our divine purpose.
To surrender fully to the Holy Spirit is to explicitly ask the universe to guide our every step as opposed to our egos. That is precisely what Jesus was doing, and that is what we are called to do. The path begins with the declaration, “Spirit of the universe, guide me, just as you guided Jesus”. This voluntary surrender will be accepted as a relinquishment of our egos as long as it is earnestly meant.
What we have come to call “Satan” in biblical stories is, in truth, nothing more than our ego, the source of all inner turmoil and separation. There is no need to imagine it as a monstrous being with horns and pitchforks; such depictions are merely symbolic, mythic personifications of the very real force within us that resists unity and perpetuates suffering.
The ego is the veil that obscures our connection to one another and to the divine source, the greater universe. When we sever the grip of ego, we return to the blissful state of oneness with all creation, with humanity, and with what Jesus called “our Father.” That Father, that Source, is not distant or external, it is the greater universe itself, the eternal presence with which we are already one, just as Jesus recognized in himself.
The so-called devil of scripture is a fictionalized metaphor for a real internal struggle, the voice of separation, fear, and illusion. But the path to liberation lies in surrender: in letting go of ego, we transcend the illusions of time and return to the infinite now. We awaken to our divine nature. In The Lord’s Prayer, the line that declares to our father “deliver us from evil” is an explicit and direct request that we be rescued from our internal egos, which is the source of all selfishness and suffering in this world. With the assistance of the quantum field of the universe, referred to as the Holy Spirit by Jesus, it will evaporate.
To accept that we are one with the universe, that we are not separate from humanity and what we call God, is the key to enlightenment. It is the very truth Jesus embodied, not to be worshiped for himself, but to show us what is possible for all.
Declare this in your consciousness;
“Father, I humbly ask to be returned to the state in which you designed us to be, free from illusion, free from suffering, and free from the false sense of separation birthed by ego. Restore in us our original nature: our capacity for compassion, for empathy, for boundless love. Let us remember that the Kingdom described by Jesus is not a distant paradise reserved for the afterlife, it is the blissful state of unity and infinite awareness, available to us now when we awaken to the divine within.”
Our egos is the veil, the dam, the obstruction that blocks our consciousness from contemplating the infinite. It is the voice of fear and division. To worship Jesus as a figure to be idolized is to misunderstand his teachings and the purpose assigned to him by the universe entirely. He did not come to be worshiped, he came to awaken us. He came to guide us toward becoming what he was: one with everything, vessels of divine consciousness aligned with the will of the greater universe.
When we surrender the will of our ego and instead embrace the will of the divine, the will of the universe itself, life transforms. Synchronicities begin to emerge. Doors open. Peace enters. Not because we are figuring life out on our own, but because we have stepped aside, allowing the Holy Spirit to guide us along the path designed for us since the beginning.
To those Christians who cling to Old Testament verses that condemn and call for violence against gay people: understand that Jesus ushered in a higher law, a law of love, mercy, and unity. The Spirit of the universe, of God, is life and love itself. While homosexuality may seem at odds with reproduction, the mechanism through which life sustains itself, Jesus’ teachings go deeper. He called us to embody the higher principle: do not judge. Love your neighbor. Do unto others as you would have them do unto you. To judge members of that community while not fully understanding why they were born that way is to completely reject the most fundamental teachings of Jesus. To practice the teachings of Jesus with that community requires you to extend your compassion, empathy and love to them, not judgement.
Jesus’ commands to love thy neighbor and not to judge others is spoken by one completely aligned with divine will. His teachings supersede the violent, egoic decrees of earlier scripture. The old laws reflected human fear and tribal preservation, not the unifying Spirit of the universe. Jesus came to correct that. To love one another, without exception, is to live in alignment with the eternal source.
Let us lay down the sword of judgment and instead carry the torch of understanding. Let us move beyond fear, beyond dogma, and into communion—with one another, and with the divine presence that animates all.
I now walk the path You have prepared for me, Father, living out the purpose woven into the fabric of my being since the beginning. I am an eternal extension of You, inseparably one with the universe and humanity, forever in alignment with your essence and will. I place all my trust in You, knowing that Your guidance never falters. I choose your plan freely and wholeheartedly. I surrender to it with peace and reverence. I welcome the truth of our unity and embrace the reality that we are mirrors of Your eternal light. I can confidently exchange my ego’s will and desire to control everything with your guidance instead as I have placed total trust in your plan for me.
With a heart full of peace, Father, I extend love, blessings, and harmony to all my brothers and sisters, regardless of the illusionary tribes and separations we may cling to. For in truth, we are one. May others be touched by the Holy Spirit and awakened to our shared divinity, that they too may walk in love and extend it freely to others.
The story of Eden is a profound literary allegory, a poetic rendering of humanity’s spiritual and mental evolution. As we developed intelligence and free will we tasted from the story’s symbolic tree of knowledge: reason, ego, and the seduction of self-guided autonomy entered our consciousness. In doing so, we drifted from the innocence and bliss of our original state. The paradise we were metaphorically “cast out” from was not a physical location, but a consciousness untainted by ego, pure, present, and whole.
The biblical authors, like sages and mystics across traditions, used metaphor and symbolism to express truths too vast for literal words. Eden represents the harmony we once knew before ego divided us from our essence. But we are not lost. Enlightened ones, Jesus, Krishna, Siddhartha, came to guide us back to the way things were before we embraced our egos. They offered not religion, but restoration. Not worship of themselves, but awakening and an embrace of the greater universe we are all one with.
Jesus called this state “Heaven,” a word rich with poetic symbolism, as it suggests a reconnection with the greater universe above us and the ecstasy therein. But Heaven is not a distant realm beyond the grave, it is a state of divine consciousness, accessible now, in this life, through the death of ego and the rebirth of spirit. Any ministry or doctrine that postpones this bliss until after death misunderstands the very core of Jesus’ message. Heaven is not a reward after a life has been lived; it is a deeper realization accessible now.
To experience this Heaven is to awaken to the infinite within. It is to remember our place in the great cosmic dance and to live as one with all that is. It is not something to earn for a life well lived upon death, it is our inheritance. This awakening has many names: in Christianity, it is Heaven; in Hinduism, it is Kundalini awakening; in Buddhism, it is Enlightenment. But the essence is the same: the return to unity with the greater universe, the Divine Source, the eternal Spirit.
There is no need to fear death. When this life ends, we return to the Source and begin anew as another manifestation of the Divine in human form. Letting go of all fear, all attachment to body and ego, is not loss, it is liberation. And it is the only path to true, lasting joy. This includes letting go of all fear of death which should be substantially easier once you recognize that death is not the end of anything but the beginning of a new life as a human incarnation of the greater universe.
This awakening is not reserved for the chosen few. It is not locked behind religious gates. It is your birthright. Within you lies the infinite, and when you access it, no material treasure on Earth can compare. You will remember who you truly are, and in doing so, you will finally come home during your life.
Declare in your mind and consciousness with sincerity;
“I hold no superiority over my brothers and sisters, for we are all eternally united, indivisible parts of the same divine whole. In truth, there is no “other.” We are one. I cast no judgments towards others in recognizing they are not superior or inferior to me. I cast no judgments towards others on others enduring a more difficult life than I am”
Every act of kindness, every gesture that affirms our shared humanity, becomes a sacred offering, a step toward restoring the harmony that ego has obscured. Jesus reminded us that in caring for the least among us, we are honoring not only them but the divine within ourselves. Such acts transcend charity; they are expressions of oneness. In leveraging our money to help them, we not only play a role in restoring peace and harmony to the universe but also declaring that you release any attachment to that money. Make sure to declare in your consciousness that the money is not yours but it belongs to God/Source. Ask that you be guided in how to use that money to fulfill the greater plan of the universe.
When we release our attachment to status, possessions, and all that the world falsely deems valuable, we make space for something infinitely greater: the bliss of awakened consciousness. In that ascended state, the joy of unity far surpasses the fleeting rewards of ego.
Our pride in our intellect, reason, and progress, has deceived us into believing we are isolated and self-sufficient. But that is the grand illusion. We are not islands; we are threads in the same eternal tapestry. True enlightenment is not the glorification of the self, but the remembrance that there is no self apart from the whole. We are one with each other, and one with the universe.
Declare in your mind
“I am not greater than my brothers and sisters, for there is no higher or lower in truth, we are all reflections of the same eternal source. United beyond form, we are one spirit, indivisible and infinite. I am not this body. I am free of all its limits. I cast no judgments upon others, for in judging another, I would only be separating myself from others and judging myself. All judgments of others are purely a projection of our own ego’s weaknesses taking place.”
The path Jesus laid before us was not one of worship of him, but of awakening. He directed all worship to our greater father and source, the universe. His care for the poor, his call to forgiveness, his urging to turn the other cheek, these were not mere acts of moral goodness, but deliberate steps toward enlightenment. Each teaching was a key to realigning us with the natural order of the universe: peace, love, and unity. The universe is not built on conflict or separation; it moves through harmony. Jesus came to show us how to return to that rhythm.
When he said, “I am one with God,” he was speaking from the clarity of ascended consciousness. His message was not that he alone held that union. He came to teach us that we too are one with God, that our separation is an illusion, born of ego. Tragically, his words were misunderstood. Instead of emulating his journey, many began to idolize the man due to his choice of words, forgetting the path he illuminated for all of us to follow. Yet even he affirmed the old testament commandment: “You shall have no other gods before Me.” And Jesus himself directed all reverence and worship to what he called our Father; the eternal Source, the infinite universe.
“In peace, Father, I release all attachments to material things and the illusions of this world. I direct all my love, praise, and reverence to You alone, the Source of all life and consciousness.”
What some call the Holy Spirit is not a mystical abstraction, it is a very real force within the fabric of the universe, a force that science is only beginning to glimpse. Jesus used the language of his time to point toward what quantum science will one day name and explain. But the truth he spoke of transcends any era or terminology.
“Father, I am here only to serve Your will, to fulfill the purpose You’ve placed in my heart and in the hearts of my brothers and sisters. I relinquish my ego’s desires in exchange for Your divine plan. Even the money I possess—I place it in Your hands. It is not mine; it is Yours. Use it according to Your wisdom, utilize me in whichever way you see fit.”
Prayers directed to Jesus, though sincere, have been misdirected. He did not come seeking worship, but to demonstrate what is possible for all of us. His oneness with God was not a claim to divinity exclusive to him, but a revelation of our shared divine potential. He was not proclaiming himself to be God in isolation, he was reminding us that we also are not separate from God. He came to restore our awareness of that truth: that we are, as he was, one with God, our Source.
Prayer of Release and Restoration
Sin is not merely wrongdoing, it is the echo of our ego’s most persistent illusions, the habits and attachments that veil us from the divine. For some, it is selfishness. For others, it may be the craving for money, the pull of lust, or the compulsive need to be right, to name a few. They can be discovered via honest introspection and by asking the Holy Spirit for help in discovering these about yourself. These are not just vices; they are forms of idolatry—false altars we build to serve the self instead of surrendering to the Source.
“Today, I renounce all forms of idolization in this illusion we call Earth. I no longer lift anything or anyone above the divine unity that is our Father, the living universe. No desire, no object, no attachment is greater than you and my longing to return to You”
With the peace and clarity granted by the Holy Spirit, I relinquish the sin of constant argument and debate, tools of the ego that once made me feel superior, yet only deepened the illusion of separation. I surrender the act of self-pleasure, not from shame, but from recognition: that it is a fixation on the body, identical to the same attachment a wealthy person may feel toward money. Whether subtle or extreme, anything that binds me to the illusion of the body over the reality of the soul must be released.
Even seemingly harmless comforts—coffee, cigarettes, stimulants, cravings, are designed to anchor our identity to the physical form. With the help of the Holy Spirit, I choose to abstain, to rise above the temporary in favor of the eternal.
“In peace, Father, I again let go of all attachment to money. I no longer see it as mine, for nothing truly belongs to me. I offer it back to you. Use it as you will. Guide me with Your Spirit to direct every resource in service of love, healing, and truth. It is yours, not mine”
“I cast no judgments upon the poor, the homeless, or the addicted. I do not know the burdens they carry or the spiritual lessons they are undergoing. I only know that we are one, each of us a reflection of the same sacred light. I ask the Holy Spirit to bless them, to lift them, and to guide them gently through their pain and toward their healing.”
And now, Father, I release all identification with this body. If it is within Your will, and in the time and manner You choose, I ask for healing of all ailments, seen and unseen. If it serves Your plan, I ask You to restore in me the full spectrum of the human spirit: joy, peace, empathy, compassion, love, and light. Let the radiance of divine humanity shine fully in me once again.
Let me return to the state of bliss You designed us to live from—not as reward, but as birthright you promised us. I offer my ego in joyful surrender. I offer my will in exchange for Yours. Lead me, guide me, and use me as You see fit.
Amen.
A Spiritual Practice for a Divided World
In this modern age of constant political division and ideological conflict, let every post, opinion, or statement that challenges my perspective become a sacred prompt, a call not to react, but to respond with love.
When I encounter a view I deeply disagree with, let that moment become a silent prayer. In my heart, I affirm:
“This is my brother. This is my sister. I cast no judgment upon them.”
- Instead of fueling division, send them your love. Offer them blessings in your consciousness. Ask the Holy Spirit to surround them with light, to guide them, to bring healing to whatever inner fear or pain may shape their view, and to do the same for you.
- When someone’s behavior triggers your frustration or moral indignation, pause. Remember: you are not separate. They are not “other.”
- You are both emanations of the same divine Source.
- To judge is to forget our oneness. To love despite disagreement is to remember God.
- Let your instinct not be to condemn, but to connect. In doing so, you choose unity over ego, and grace over grievance. And in that moment, you participate in the healing of the world.
Prayers:
Prayer of Surrender to the Infinite
Holy Source of all,
I surrender the illusion that I am this body, this name, this fleeting story.
I lay down my ego, the mask I’ve worn in fear and pride.
Strip me of all that separates me from You, from others, and from the truth of who I am.
I am not this form.
I am not these roles.
I am not the voice of judgment in my mind.
I am the presence behind it all, eternal, boundless, free.
Let Your will, not mine, shape my path.
Guide me as a vessel of light and love.
Make me empty, so that I may be filled by You.
Amen.

Declaration of Inner Liberation
Today, I release all labels.
I am no longer bound by the story I have told myself.
I am not my past, nor my possessions.
I am not the voice that doubts or compares.
I am not my successes, nor my failures.
I am the awareness behind it all.
Timeless. Formless. Whole.
I return to the truth that I am one with the universe, not apart, but a living extension of the Source.
In this letting go, I find peace.
In this surrender, I find power.
I am free.
Whisper of the Spirit (Silent Meditation)
Sit in stillness. Breathe naturally.
As each thought arises about your name, your fears, your story, whisper silently:
“That is not who I am.”
Let the thought pass. Return to the breath.
Feel yourself become spacious, light, and open.
No past. No future. Only this eternal now.
In this silence, you are one with the divine.
Nighttime Prayer of Detachment
As I lay this body down to rest,
I release all attachments to its name and form.
I let go of the burdens of self-image, the masks I wore today, the pride, the worry, the striving.
I am not the roles I play.
I am not the image I protect.
I am the still flame within, untouched by the winds of the world.
May my sleep be a rehearsal of surrender, a return to unity with You, where there is no “me” or “mine,” only peace. Only love.
Amen.
