The world is full of discord, violence, hostility, anger and Jesus is someone who knew we must restore peace in our personal lives to remain in harmony with the natural order of the universe which is peace. That is partially achieved by forgiving, because when forgiving, we are restoring the natural order of peace. We are also restoring our organic connection to others whom we are one with that was previously severed by our egos. Your ability to forgive is always being tested; those aren’t accidental. Always choose the route of peace.
Tips Include:
- Not engaging in arguments, especially when people provoke you, not just in person, but online as well where people live to troll and provoke others. Do not engage them.
- Do not hurt someone just because they hurt you. If someone says something offensive to you or if you feel disrespected. If your first instinct is to flip them off or curse them off, train yourself to instead say ‘god bless you!’ ‘peace with you’ or whatever blessing comes to mind, but wish them well. This immediately deescalates the situation, and puts that toxic fire out. Jesus put this instruction beautifully when he said ‘blessed are the peacemakers’. In short, you will absolutely benefit from upholding peace. Your life will improve exponentially, as there is a ripple effect to every decision you make.
- If you did in fact clash with someone because your ego became unrestrained, cool off. sleep it off, and ask for forgiveness. This requires total humility and putting your ego aside, because this is in the interest of peace, which puts you back in harmony with the natural order of the universe which is peace. This once again upholds and retains peace and puts you back in alignment with the universe and all things.
- Do not hold grudges, grievances, or resentments towards others. This corrupts your heart and fills your heart with hatred. Forgive them, make peace with them, ask the spirit of god to dissolve your heart of any attachments to those toxic emotions as you forgive them.
- Regardless of what your religion is (or lack thereof) you are subject to the same natural laws of the universe, and there is literally no downside to upholding these laws and instructions. You ultimately benefit from them and you will see the benefits from them almost immediately.
- If you feel pure anger cooking internally and you feel ready to explode, that’s your cue to forgive and let it roll off your back. There’s no better skill than keeping your cool and letting nothing phase you.
- Proving people wrong and trying to win arguments is just your ego trying to massage and inflate itself further.
- Eliminate any finger pointing, which is typically just your ego attempting to refuse to accept responsibility or recognize your own faults. Victim complexes are just another way your ego protects itself instead of accepting blame.
- Never choose retaliation or revenge, this is once again your ego trying to satisfy itself and it’s another way you are disengaged from peace and harmony with all things. This just invites more pain and suffering into your life.
- If you need help in achieving this and getting better at blowing off people who anger or trigger you, ask the holy spirit and the universe, our father, for strength and help in doing this. It’s not easy. For secular folks who think this is a ludicrous piece of advice. The Holy Spirit being described here is absolutely real, it’s the name given to it by Jesus. Jesus was way ahead of the curve and recognized a force we are subject to and I’m confident science will inevitably identify and recognize it as being real and you can tap into the holy spirit right now to see for yourself if it’s real to put any doubts and skepticism you have to rest. Invoking the help of the spirit of the god strikes another blow to your ego which likes to believe it can do everything itself without any help
