Constant clashes with others whether it’s on social media, message boards, colleagues, coworkers, bosses, family members are all antithetical and work against the natural state of the universe which is unity, collaboration, and harmony. Teamwork whether it’s a sports team, an office department at work, the creative team on a movie set all working to create something beautiful. These are all in conjunction and in adherence with the natural state of the universe which discourages and punishes opposition, friction, isolation, individualism, and anything that doesn’t line up with human harmony.
It’s no wonder that depression and sadness always lead to total isolation, it’s the complete deprivation of human contact which is necessary for human happiness and harmony with all. It makes sense that depression and isolation would be symptomatic of someone who is completely cut off from uniformity, contact and unity with others. There is no stronger or effective way to combat depression than putting yourself in groups where you feel one with others, whether it’s a sports team, a team at work, or a group at church. Re-establish the feeling of unity and oneness with others. The person being needlessly difficult in your office department, or the person constantly starting fights in your circle of friends is going against the very order and nature of the universe and needs to be pulled aside until he’s helped to overcome whatever is at the root of his desire to create division and friction.
This is especially disheartening with modern politics in which an obvious divide & conquer tactics that have been around for hundreds of years. While it remains a popular tactic to control the population, the end result is constant culture wars and pitting people against each other. It is completely in defiance to the natural state of the universe and for Christians who claim to be followers of Jesus, they are completely disobeying Jesus’ calls for unity and oneness when they go on hate fueled rants, or when they make demands and calls for segregation of any kind. It is critical that if someone tries to pull you into a clash, an argument, or any sort of contentious relationship in any environment, whether work, school, or anywhere else, please do not take the bait. They are trying to pull you into a rabbit hole and slippery slope and once you fall into it, you will find it incredibly difficult to escape. You are depriving yourself of happiness which is 100% dependent on your ability to get along and harmonize with others. If you find yourself full of contempt for others, pushing others away, isolating yourself, doing things out of spite towards others no matter how small, and creating unnecessary interpersonal issues in social groups/environments, this is your cue to correct yourself and seek help.
Recognize that these are the source of your depression and pain and do everything you can to eliminate these lifestyle choices and to embrace unity and oneness with others, even if it means putting aside egotistical judgements of others, jealousy and grudges towards others. Jesus gave an excellent instruction to his followers to forgive others, and to bless others you may not necessarily be on good or friendly terms with. This is an incredibly important lesson. It puts you back in harmony with the universe, and those steps go a long way in self-healing. It mends fences, reestablishes peace, eliminates discord and animosity in your life in favor of love. Wish and bless everyone well, even people who don’t like you and people you have disliked in the past. Pray for the best possible lives for them.
Give genuine blessings and forgiveness towards others and completely let go of your egotistical desire to condemn, judge or hate others. We are in truth one, and anything you do to others will ultimately come back to haunt you. It doesn’t matter if it’s someone in front of you or someone on reddit or a Facebook group, you must always act in harmony with others. This can be incredibly difficult when dealing with hateful or angry people, but please don’t try to engage in the same behavior or take the beat with verbal warfare with others that only serves to increase hatred and animosity and ultimately disconnects you from the universe and happiness. When someone in your department or company asks for help, eagerly help them, and offer to help them in any other way. If help is needed in the household, don’t stay on the sidelines while others are suffering and ploughing through chores. Please lend a hand. Avoid arguments whenever possible, they’re fueled by anger and in worst cases hatred. There are ways to come to peaceful agreements and discuss things without veering off into argument and angry territory.
The goal is to reestablish collaboration, unity, and oneness with all. Taking joy in the suffering of others, sabotaging others you’re jealous with for any petty reason is completely spitting on the nature of the universe and if you’re a Christian it’s spitting on God/Jesus and his teachings. Unfortunately, there has been a very clear deviation from this amongst the Christian community, and when perusing social media communities, it’s not uncommon to see people who proudly tout their Christian ‘faith’ and religious affiliations while also spewing hateful language towards others. In many cases they use their religious affiliation to justify hatred towards groups they feel they are superior to.
There is no spiritual or religious justification for segregation, judgement, or hatred towards others for superficial differences, differences of opinions/beliefs or any other differences. You are completely violating the tenets of your own faith when doing this. For secular people without any spiritual affiliation, you will absolutely benefit from doing this as well since these are the natural laws and mechanics of the universe, and you are subject to them just as much as you’re subject to the laws of gravity.
As a general rule, celebrate and encourage the accomplishments of others. Friendly competition is fine but unfriendly and hostile competition is not. Please avoid and boycott commentaries, pundits and social media accounts that deliberately sow division and stoke animosity between different groups. You’ll know it when you see them and their entire goal is to rile people up and get you to hate others. This completely flies in the face of restoring total unity and oneness with all humans and universe, experiencing total peace and happiness as a result of pursuing this path.
To those Christians who are engaging with this discussion, it is crucial to recognize that the concept of “Christian Nationalism” is fundamentally contradictory and stands in opposition to the teachings of Jesus. Christ’s message was one of universal unity and the oneness of humanity. Therefore, the modern inclination to erect artificial barriers between different groups and to promote a divisive “us versus them” mentality directly contradicts His teachings. Christian Nationalism not only stems from a desire to distance oneself from others but also reflects a misplaced sense of superiority. Those who advocate for or subscribe to Christian Nationalism demonstrate a profound misunderstanding of Jesus’s teachings; they may identify with Christianity as a cultural affiliation, but they fail to embrace its core principles.
In essence, as humanity, we are all bound together as one; we are, in a profound sense, a single family. By recognizing others as members of this shared family, we transform our perceptions and interactions, leading to more compassionate and harmonious relationships.
