Here Are The Directions Many Follow. Despite Most Religious Claims, It Goes Beyond Just Declaring Jesus Is Your Savior
A profound spiritual awakening to universal oneness is possible by all, but only you can get the ball rolling. For those in doubt, give it an honest attempt, and the results speak for themselves. Every thought you have a vibration being sent out into the universe, so keep all the declarations and statements seen below in your mind.
- Accept the Holy Spirit
- Declare assertively that you are not your body, instead claim “I am simply a spirit having a human experience”. This gets the ball rolling.
- Genuinely let go of all fear of death and thus an attachment to your body/life
- Constantly remind yourself that everyone you cross paths with is one with you. We are all collectively and literally one despite the illusions of our egos.
- Earnestly declare to our father, the greater universe your desire for a spiritual awakening and remembering your unity with all, as being your highest priority.
- Ask the Holy Spirit to reveal your ego’s weaknesses to atone and ask forgiveness for. Watch for patterns in life that reveal this to you and/or listen via meditation
- Learn to let things go and let things be instead of pushing back on it instead of trying to resolve it yourself. Especially if it’s a circumstance you have no control over like an illness. Accept it and let it be without trying to aggressively fix things on your own. Letting things be is critical.
- Declare you accept that you and all other humans are the children of the universe; that we are all one. We are all one as brothers and sisters despite our egos insistence that we are all distinct or separate. This is patently false. Drop the habit of distinguishing people as “others” in order to emphasize in your mind that we are all literally one.
- Ask the holy spirit for help in achieving the highest levels of self awareness and help with identifying and correcting your weaknesses. Ask for help specifically identifying your actions, attitudes, thoughts, and habits that are amoral, egotistical, selfish and have derailed from being in harmony and unity with the universe. Ask the Holy Spirit for help awakening to your true self and realizing the true nature of reality.
- Ask to be guided to help you realize where you’ve fallen short and what your weaknesses are. This is a demonstration of humility. Ask for help in correcting them. Express remorse for these missteps with an intent to correct and improve in the interest of a spiritual awakening to your higher self. Ask the holy spirit to guide you in correcting yourself, and putting you on the right path. Make this explicitly clear in your thoughts.
- “I accept our unity and oneness as our father’s children.” I cast no judgements or grievances on my neighbors as we are all one. In peace I forgive the past and let it go, I accept what happened. I accept situations and scenarios I’ve had to deal with including relationships ending. I let go of the past and accept my life the way it is. I accept what can’t be changed. I am not this body I am free of its limits and an expression of our father who is love. God bless all my neighbors and brothers for we are all one.
- Let go of the guilt, as you express remorse and ask to be dissolved of any guilt as you make amends and corrections for. The past is in the past. You’re now being guided into the future via the greater spirit of the universe.
- This is much more than most preachers just telling you to proclaim that “I accept Jesus as my savior”. If it was that quick and simple, we’d see much more spiritual awakenings and way less hatred and selfishness running rampant in Christian communities. Stories of people experiencing a profound spiritual awakening in their life would be much more common.
- Forgive others, even for the tiniest infraction, do not give into emotions like anger, hold resentments or seek petty retaliation. Avoid arguments, fights, desires to be right in arguments are petty and egotistical.
- After making an earnest request for help from the holy spirit, you’ll be faced with opportunities often for forgiveness, and those are not accidents; they’ll also give you opportunities to reflect on your weaknesses, guilt and things you could improve. So use forgiveness opportunities as prompts to reflect on times when you have done similar things. Everyone else is a reflection of ourselves since we are all one. It’s an excellent insight to your weaknesses. This is helpful in looking inwards. This is the introspective aspect of forgiveness that is not touched on as often as it should in mainstream Christianity.

- Demonstrate humility by relying less on your ego in life and more so on the Holy Spirit. Don’t be shy about asking the holy spirit for guidance and help, as you are literally asking for higher assistance. Your ego by nature demands free will and total control of all things, present and future… get used to earnestly relying on the holy spirit. Those random moments of inspiration and thought that come at just the correct moment are the higher inspirations and guidance you were asking for.
- An excellent portion of the lord’s prayer is a declaration that you are surrendering and yielding to the greater will of the universe. “thy will be done” is not a small statement. It’s a declaration that you are humbly declaring that our greater father’s will take precedence over our own will. This is an important declaration since you are voluntarily electing to be guided on a path that is in greater hands rather than your own. Make sure you are making an earnest declaration that you leave the future in the hands of our greater father; the universe whom we are one with. Cast aside all fear to do this successfully.
- “My life and future is in the hands of our father, the universe whom we are all one with. My body and mind remains the home of the Holy Spirit, guiding me in the path the greater universe wants me to be on” is a great quick prayer to state in your mind.
- “My body and mind remains home for the holy spirit guiding me on the path determined for me, keeping me in harmony with the universe that is our greater father”
- In earnestly relying more on the Holy Spirit more so than your ego for guidance, you can release and let go of all fear knowing you are being guided on the path that is in your best interest.
- Let go of your ego’s desire for control in addition to your ego’s constant fear stemming from anxieties about the future. Ask the holy spirit to dissolve you of all fear as you place your trust in the spirit of God instead.
- When relinquishing all fear, also relinquish all fear of death. We are eternal beings, and though our egos and bodies may expire, we will start a new life right away. Keeping this in mind will make it significantly easier to let go of any attachment to body/ego and release all fear of death. Sincerely letting go of any fear of death for a huge milestone moment in your spiritual journey.
- In relinquishing control of the future and forgiving others from the past you can now live comfortably in the present moment, where infinity lies. Where true happiness lies.
- Love others, everyone you cross paths with as you love yourself, as we are all one.
- Do not judge others
- Demonstrate mercy towards others
- Demonstrate virtues and qualities of the meek like empathy, generosity, compassion and gentleness instead of anger and aggression.
- Take care of the poor and less fortunate people when those opportunities arise.
- Look out for strangers, not just people you know.
- Seek justice and fairness whenever possible
- Choose and advocate for the peaceful path at every opportunity. Avoid conflicts fights and arguments
- Putting others before yourself is priority and will inevitably come back to help you, demonstrating total selflessness.
- Let go of any attachments to material possessions and wealth.
- Love our Father with all your heart
- One of my favorite declarations to be made to our father/the universe/the holy spirit can actually be found in a course in miracles which despite what some overly cautious Christians may think, is full of valuable information and affirmations. Lesson 199 & 219: “I am not a body. I am free. For I am still as God created me“
Your advantage is your ability to constantly tap into the holy spirit. Other important steps include consistently choosing peace over discord/conflict when faced with those options. The natural order of the universe is literally order, peace, love, and unity. Therefore, any action that preserves this order will pay back in spades. Avoid indulging in ego and negative emotions like anger, hostility, aggression, resentment, lashing out and vengeance no matter how petty. They sow discord in one’s own life and others.
Editorial:
How many Christians practice and integrate these principles into their daily lives? Unfortunately, few do. Many believe that declaring a mere “belief” in Jesus allows them to live while ignoring his teachings. Jesus Christ, revered globally, left timeless teachings urging humanity to embody virtues such as love, compassion, and forgiveness, not just profess faith. He emphasized invoking the Holy Spirit, seeking its divine guidance, and living by the principles he taught. He emphasized prayer to our father, the greater Universe and the Holy Spirit, as he never advised his followers to specifically pray to him.
Today’s faith landscape often includes hypocrites who profess Christianity yet contradict its teachings. They may proclaim devotion to Jesus while spreading vitriol against anyone they perceive as different.
Jesus’ path is challenging, requiring humility, forgiveness, and steadfast dedication to his virtues. Forgiveness embodies humility, and seeking the Holy Spirit brings clarity amid life’s challenges.
Christianity’s appeal lies in its promise of salvation through faith in Jesus, which can seem simple to outsiders. However, Jesus did not preach an easy, responsibility-free path. His teachings call for living with integrity and daily love.
True faith’s essence transcends empty declarations. When assessing spiritual communities, genuine peace and love are most evident.
Reflecting on American Christianity in particular prompts introspection: are we truly living Jesus’ virtues or merely proclaiming his name without embodying his spirit?
These questions resonate within the faithful and a nation seeking harmony amid discord.
So Why Are Jesus’ Instructions for A Spiritual Awakening Getting Skipped by Many?
Why? If you were to ask any Christian off the street or any pastor what is required to gain eternal life. They would likely tell you: ‘You have to declare your belief in Jesus as the Son of God, acknowledge his death and resurrection for you.’ This is seen as the only step to take for eternal life, according to mainstream Christian churches. However, none of these align with what Jesus actually taught his followers, and therefore, none of these are the true keys to eternal life. That is not enough.
Unfortunately, the people who are simply declaring “I accept Jesus” as the full extent of their spiritual journey end up becoming terrible ambassadors for Jesus’ teachings because they never actually follow or practice anything he taught, which is what actually leads to actual spiritual enlightenment/awakening. What ends up happening is we get mass groups of Christians practicing hateful practices and language, but think because they have a Jesus bumper sticker, they’ve solidified their spiritual destiny as saved.
Jesus makes this explicitly clear when he says: “By their fruit you will recognize them. Not everyone who says to Me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ will enter the kingdom of heaven, but only he who does the will of My Father in heaven”.
Faith in God without actually applying anything we were advised to do by Jesus is dead
The idea that “Jesus already died for me so I can do whatever I want” is far too prevalent in modern Christianity. If all he needed to do was die for us then he wouldn’t have made such a tremendous effort in teaching his followers how to restore their universal consciousness from their egoic minds. An effort needs to be made by everyone, not simply lean on an assurance that they have eternal life no matter what they do. The road to salvation was paved and built by Jesus but you still need to pay the toll by actually practicing what he taught. The teachings to his followers to successfully achieve this, is what helped him accumulate such a large following. More modern Christians would experience the transcendental awakenings that Jesus’ followers experienced if they actually followed his instructions. Then they would get a taste of what blew the minds of everyone who followed his teachings during his lifetime.
The widespread misconception that simply believing in Jesus is enough for eternal life stems from a passage in the Gospel of John. It’s here that John writes, ‘Whoever believes in Jesus shall have eternal life.’ But this verse has been widely misinterpreted for two millennia. A more accurate understanding reveals that eternal life is granted to those who not only align with Jesus but also follow the teachings he laid out for his followers.
This misinterpretation has had profound consequences. The language used in John’s Gospel suggests a low bar to eternal life — just believe in Jesus and you’re saved. As a result, billions of Christians neglect the core teachings of Jesus, particularly those outlined in the Sermon on the Mount, the Beatitudes, Forgiveness, etc. because they believe declaring Jesus is your savior is sufficient.
To Elaborate Further:
Let Go Of Attachments
Jesus spoke about letting go of attachments in several passages, emphasizing the importance of prioritizing one’s relationship with God over material possessions and earthly ties. Here are a couple of key teachings:
- Extending Love To All Others, Because We Are All Literally One.
- “Love God With With All Your heart and Love Your Neighbor As Yourself.”
